Stuart Gray has over 6 years experience working in the infrastructure sector. His experience includes ports, rail/rolling stock, airports and PPP transactions.
Stuart was a member of the team that founded Arcus in 2009 and, since inception, has been responsible for tax matters for the Fund and its assets. Prior to joining Arcus, Stuart had 17 years tax advisory experience in both the profession and in industry. In addition to Stuart’s extensive experience in tax structuring, he has worked on the take privates of Forth in 2011 and Brisa in 2013 as well as M&A transactions for both Shere and Alpha Trains. Stuart is currently the asset manager for Forth Ports and sits on the Board of that company. He also sits on the Board of Shere Group.
Stuart was previously a member of the tax division of Babcock & Brown where he worked extensively on infrastructure transactions (2007-2009) and also previously worked at Sanmina-SCI (2002-2007), Andersen (1996-2002) and Deloitte (1993-1996).
Stuart is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Tax Advisors and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Stuart holds a degree in Accountancy from the University of Glasgow (1993).
