Market

  • Global demand for fibre continues to grow thanks to increased data usage, population growth and hybrid working models increasing the need for FTTH
  • Poland is an attractive FTTH market due to its fragmentation, low levels of overbuild, anticipated ARPU growth and competitive capex costs – differentiating it from other European markets
  • Poland remains a relatively underdeveloped FTTH market with only 55% coverage ranking in the lower half of EU coverage rates yet with strong forecasted growth at 12% CAGR
  • The local FTTH market is highly fragmented, with the top four players (i.e., Orange, UPC, Netia and Vectra) accounting for c. 60%, and the remaining c. 40% split between a long tail of regional operators
