Market

  • German has a high number of electric vehicles on its roads, with the rollout of necessary charging infrastructure historically lagging
  • This demand-supply imbalance is expected to persist in the future as EV take-up increases
  • In 2023, EVs accounted for 25% of new vehicle registrations in Germany
  • On-street charging will be a critical part of the overall charging mix for Germany, particularly in urban and suburban environments where a significant portion of the population live in multi-dwelling buildings with a lack of access to at-home, private charging
  • Supported by favourable regulatory environment in Germany and green agenda targets

Asset

  • One of the first independent players in Germany securing attractive locations in core cities
  • Focus on developing and operating charging infrastructure at on-street, publicly accessible locations serving a number of use cases
  • Partners with cities and local municipalities and secured long-term contracts to build and operate its chargers across several major metropolitan regions
  • Its current portfolio extends to over 800 parking spaces, with a further substantial identified pipeline to be installed in the next 18 months
  • Aim for electric vehicle drivers to be able to charge their cars wherever they park and seamless integrate in their daily mobility routine
